Coverage means BelowGrid can identify which authorities govern and serve an address. It is a weaker claim than it sounds, and the difference is the whole point of this page.

What coverage does not mean

  • It does not mean BelowGrid holds records for properties there. Most property-level sewer records are kept in permit portals behind logins.
  • It does not mean the local requirements have been reviewed. Those are counted separately above, and the count is what it is.
  • An area not listed here is one BelowGrid cannot help with yet. That says nothing about the properties in it.
